you will receive an email with tracking info. we will notify of delays in shipping or availability. to minimize our environmental impact, we often re-use boxes and packing materials received from our suppliers.

note: furniture and other items sent directly from our suppliers may take extra time.

if you're not happy, you may return your item within 30 days for exchange or romp credit ONLY. refunds will not be given. romp credit is valid for 1 year from date of issue. thereafter, unused credit is forfeited. special orders and sale items are non-returnable.

please contact us about any returns. returned merchandise must be unused (new) with original packaging and tags intact. upon processing a return, ROMP will issue a credit or replacement.

for any wallpaper silhouette returns, please note that we can only accept undamaged and unopened articles! each tube is packed with a large sample of the pattern affixed to the tube. please do not open a silhouette until you are ready to install it. if you have opened the silhouette, we cannot accept it for return.

returns must be well packed and insured for their full value. original shipping charges are non-refundable. romp can not assume responsibility for any return shipment fees or issues.

damage/defect claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. we may arrange for for return shipping if required. in the event of damage in shipping, UPS may require an inspection, so please retain all packing materials.

what are they made of?
the wallpaper silhouettes are made of actual wallpaper. all silhouettes are handmade - variations in pattern, color, etc are by design. about 95% of the wallpapers are vintage and in limited supply. patterns are subject to change without notice. we do our best to represent color and pattern, but can not accept responsibility for variations.

is it possible to get an animal facing right? in another pattern?
yes! though you will likely have to wait some time and our special order policies apply (see policies below). please contact us for details.

are they hard to install?
that depends. the animals are relatively simple to install for a novice. the tree is a bit more complicated, though absolutely do-able. some of our customers do hire a pro to help them with the tree.

what about a shark? a dinosaur? a cat?
sorry, but at this time we only have the silhouettes shown here. we hope to have new animals by the end of 2008. please join our mailing list for future details.

what if I don't like the pattern?

are they fragile?

what is the paste made of?
methyl cellulose, a wheat-based chemical compound which dissolves in water. methyl cellulose is also used as an emulsifier in foods and other products. it is non-toxic and non-allergenic.

how are they made?
each silhouette is cut by hand in inke heiland's workshop. each silhouette provides meaningful work to an eager group of developmentaly disabled adults.

for your security, ROMP uses a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and encrypts information that is sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. this certificate serves as an electronic "passport" that establishes an online entity's credentials when doing business on the web. when a user attempts to send confidential information to a server, the user's browser accesses the server's digital certificate and establishes a secure connection.
